Hello Fam!! Welcome ya'all to my blog. Today we will learn how to cook easy beetroot curry.
INGREDIENTS
• Beetroot - 2-3 (Medium size)
• Big onions - 3 (Medium size) nos
• Tomatoes - 3 now
• Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
• Chilli powder - 2 tsp
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
• Coriander powder - 3 tsp
• Brinjal - 4-5 nos
• Potato - 1 no (Optional)
• Green chillies - 3 nos (Optional)
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
• Coriander leaves for garnish
• Oil
• Water as required
• Salt to taste
METHOD
• Peel beetroot skin, wash and cut into cubes
• Chop onions and tomatoes. Grind ginger and garlic. Cut brinjal.
• Heat oil, add big onions and saute well. Add tomatoes, saute till its soft mushy.
• Add salt and water. Close the lid and cook till done. Open the lid now, add Garam masala powder and garnish with coriander leaves.
Yummy beetroot curry it ready and can be served hot with white rice.
