Fish Biryani

                            Fish Biryani


Welcome Fam!!  Today we are gonna see how to cook delicious Fish Biryani.

INGREDIENTS 
Basmati rice - 4 cups
Fish - 1 kg
 Ghee - 2 tbsp
Peppercorns - 1 tbsp
Whole spices ( Cinnamon - 2 inch, Cloves - 6-7, Cardamom -7 )
Big onions - 3 nos 
Tomatoes - 3 nos 
 Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 2 tbsp
• Turmeric powder - 1tbsp
Green chillies - 6 nos 
Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch
Mint leaves - 1/4 bunch
Oil for frying 
Salt to taste 

METHOD

•   Marinate fish with chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste,salt.

•   Fry the fish in oil.

•   Heat ghee and oil.

•   Add whole spices, peppercorns and saute it.

•   Add rinsed rice, water and salt. Cook for 4 whistles.

•   Heat oil. Add sliced onions and saute well. 

•   Add tomatoes, saute it.

•   Into it add ginger-garlic paste.

•   Add chilli powder. 

•   Add green chillies.

•   Add coriander leaves and mint leaves. Saute till the raw smell disappears. 

•   In a wide bottom vessel spread a layer of masala on the top layer of cooked rice. Spread it evenly then place fried fishes.

•   Again spread the rice and the masala and the fish.

•   Garnish with coriander leaves. Close the lid and simmer for few minutes. 

•   Yummy Fish Biryani is ready. Serve it hot.
