Mushroom Biryani

                     MUSHROOM BIRYANI


Heyaaa Fam!! Welcome back to my blog. Today we are gonna learn how to make Mushroom Biryani.

Preparation time: 1 hour.

Serves: 5-6

INGREDIENTS 
Mushroom - 400 gm
 Basmati rice - 5 cups
Whole spices ( Cinnamon stick - 2 inch, Cloves - 6, Cardamom - 4 )
Big onions - 3 nos
Tomatoes - 5 nos
Green chillies - 6 nos
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Mint leaves - 1/4 bunch
Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Chilli powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 2 tsp
Bay leaf - 2 - 3
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Water - 9 cups
Salt to taste 

METHOD 

•   Clean mushrooms well and cut it.

•   Slice onions and tomatoes.

•   Grind ginger and garlic. 

•   Chop coriander leaves and mint leaves. 

•   Heat oil and ghee. Add the whole spices and bay leaves. 

•   Add sliced big onions, saute it well. 

•   Add tomatoes and green chillies. 

•   Into this add ginger-garlic paste. 

   Add chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves. 

•   Add chilli powder, turmeric powder. Saute till raw smell disappears. 

•   Add mushroom and mix it.

•   Add rice to this.

•   Pour lemon juice and required water and salt. Close the lid of the cooker. Cook till 4 whistles.

•   When the pressure is released open the cooker and mix it.

•  Serve hot with Onion Raita.
